Singhania Law College organizes legal aid camp in Gram Panchayat Iswal
A legal aid and awareness camp was held at Government Higher Secondary School
in Gram Panchayat Iswal on Saturday, 04/03/2023, under the auspices of Singhania
Law College. The programme was presided over by the school principal, Mr. Suresh
ji Niyati, and the special guest was Mrs. Premlata Shrimali, the Vice Principal of the
school. The Law College organizes Legal Aid Camps to help people from the poorer
sections of society get justice and to raise legal awareness among law students.
Singhania Law College has also adopted Rakampura village for free legal aid. In the
episode of the program, practical knowledge of "Good Touch - Bad Touch" was
given by the students of the college through street plays. The programme began
with college student Khushbu Khandelwal discussing police action, Gazala Anjum
discussing Rajasthan government welfare schemes, Rubina Banon discussing the
right to maintenance, Rudra Kansara discussing the public property, Khetdan
discussing the scholarship scheme, and Bhanwar Singh Rao discussing compulsory
voting and Panchayat elections. Anirudh Araha, Lease, shared information with the
students and villagers present about bonded labour and other topics.
